Ryan Fire Protection is hiring Apprentices for our comprehensive five-year, paid training program designed to help you earn while you learn. This opportunity offers hands-on field experience combined with 19 courses through a nationally recognized university, ensuring you are fully prepared for a long-term career in the industry.
As a Sprinkler Apprentice, you will be part of a team dedicated to fire protection systems. The role is physically demanding and requires the ability to work at heights, specifically being tied-off in a boom lift. You must be physically fit to perform the work and willing to travel as needed for project assignments.
The program is structured to advance your skills systematically. You will receive regular raises every six months as you progress through the classes, with the ultimate goal of training you to become a Foreman. While the starting pay is $25.35/hour, candidates with a bachelor's degree, military experience, or prior experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or other commercial construction trades may start at a higher rate. The program culminates in a Foreman salary of $54.00/hour, surpassing the standard Journeyman rate of $51.22/hour.
