About the Role
As a Lead Building Engineer, you will serve as a vital member of the property management leadership team in Richmond, VA. This is a hands-on role that requires you to work alongside Building Engineers in the field while providing management and leadership for continuous improvement efforts. You will partner with Property Managers to ensure the highest level of customer service and assist in implementing corporate and regional initiatives.
Your day will involve developing and delivering departmental goals, maintaining life safety and environmental procedures, and ensuring compliance with local, federal, and state building codes. You will interface directly with clients, support leasing efforts through property tours and tenant space reviews, and coordinate the activities of contractors and subcontractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying capital projects, evaluating vendor pricing, and ensuring the property achieves the lowest unit cost utility through demand control programs.

Requirements
