About the Role
As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will partner with patients to address disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Your day will involve evaluating patients in their homes or facilities, developing personalized plans of treatment, and administering diagnostic tests. You will serve as a key educator, providing instruction to patients, families, and healthcare staff on alternative communication systems and care strategies. This role requires close collaboration with physicians and supervisors to monitor patient progress, coordinate care, and manage discharge planning while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professional conduct.
