About the Role
As a Speech Therapist in Home Health, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to speech and language disorders, as well as functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Based on these assessments, you will help determine treatment plans, perform interventions aimed at improving patient well-being, and evaluate progress. You will provide services within the scope of practice defined by state laws, coordinate with the healthcare team, and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in areas where they can participate in therapy.
