Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for a local school district in the Miami-Dade area. These positions support multiple schools across the region, offering both part-time and full-time opportunities. As an independent contractor, you will enjoy greater flexibility while receiving competitive hourly pay rates that include reimbursement for documentation, meeting attendance, and report writing.
This role is designed for clinicians dedicated to helping children thrive. You will implement specialized therapy techniques in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with teaching staff to ensure learning carry-over, and provide consultative services to parents. The position also involves participating in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate student needs and develop interventions, as well as maintaining all required documentation in compliance with federal, state, and school regulations.
Each year, the number of students receiving related services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grows, creating a critical need for expert clinicians. This demand is the catalyst for Kelly Pediatric Therapy's (KPT) mission: to deliver holistic, comprehensive, education-based therapy services. For over 20 years, KPT has partnered with independent contractors who share this mission to change the way children access their full education and reach their potential.
KPT is a provider-focused environment leading in Early Intervention, School-Based Services, and Outpatient care. We ensure you do not navigate the pediatric therapy world alone by surrounding you with mentors, clinical directors, resources, and a community of experienced clinicians.
We are committed to your success and comfort through several unique programs:
Kelly is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other legally protected status. We take affirmative action to recruit, employ, and advance qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans. Requests for accommodation related to the application process can be directed to the Kelly Human Resource Knowledge Center. Kelly complies with California's state and local Fair Chance laws, and a conviction does not automatically bar individuals from employment.
