We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our award-winning Special Education team in Walker County, GA, with program locations in La Fayette and Flintstone. This role exists to provide high-quality, customized speech therapy services that improve overall speech functioning and communication skills for students with diverse needs.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will perform meaningful work in a culture that supports limitless potential for personal and professional satisfaction. You will partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals—including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educational psychologists—to deliver holistic care. Your day will involve direct instruction, prescriptive evaluation, and consulting with parents and home school district representatives to achieve speech therapy goals.
You will be responsible for writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring student progress through data-informed practices, and adjusting therapy services to ensure optimal outcomes. The role requires establishing effective communication with families to support consistent scheduling and providing guidance to caregivers on strategies that promote the carryover of speech and communication goals into daily routines. You may also travel to home or community-based settings to oversee program fidelity and lead staff trainings to share best practices.
