About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Minds Matter LLC, you will serve as a vital therapeutic partner for individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries. Your mission is to evaluate, plan, and deliver targeted interventions that restore communication skills and enhance daily living capabilities. This role goes beyond clinical treatment; it is about empowering consumers to identify their needs, develop compensation techniques, and integrate their recovery into broader life goals such as employment, education, and independent living.
You will work directly within the home and community settings, collaborating closely with consumers, their families, case managers, and transitional living specialists. The position requires a holistic approach, where you not only administer evaluations and design exercise programs but also educate families on the consequences of brain injury and train personal care assistants to support the consumer's progress. By maintaining a professional rapport with community agencies and actively participating in interagency task groups, you help foster a supportive network that extends the impact of therapy beyond the session itself.
