Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Fellow to join our inpatient healthcare and medical services department. In this role, you will deliver patient-centered rehabilitation services under the mentorship of experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). You will focus on assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for adults recovering from illness or injury.

As a Fellow, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating closely to optimize patient outcomes. Your day-to-day will involve providing direct therapy, assisting with treatment planning, documenting progress, and educating patients, families, and caregivers on essential communication and swallowing strategies.
Candidates must be in current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship (CF) status. The application process involves submitting credentials to verify eligibility for state licensure and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), which is preferred or in progress. All selected candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited program and possess BLS/CPR certification.
