About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Specialty Office is a vital member of the care team, dedicated to providing general nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within the Medical Group practices. This role is designed to support a patient-centered approach, where the LPN actively advocates for patient health and collaborates closely with physicians, registered professional nurses, and multidisciplinary team members.\n Working under the clinical direction of licensed health care providers, the LPN performs tasks within the framework of case finding, health coaching, and supportive care. The position requires adherence to the standards outlined in the NYS Education Law, NYS Office of the Professions, and the State Nurse Practice Act, while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Mohawk Valley Health System.
