Based at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, this role is accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients and families according to their individualized needs. You will work as part of a nursing team, assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) by obtaining initial patient assessments and providing ongoing observation. Your day will involve performing assigned nursing care, conducting patient teaching, and ensuring safety measures are in place to protect both staff and patients. You will communicate verbally and in writing with patients, visitors, and medical staff, demonstrating courteous and professional behavior while actively participating in unit meetings.
This position operates on a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week, working nights and every third weekend.
