About the Role
This opportunity is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care facility in Livingston, Montana. The role involves providing routine nursing care to residents, including monitoring conditions, delivering treatments per the plan of care, and assisting with activities of daily living. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans while maintaining strict infection control practices and resident safety.
As a travel nurse with Healthforce, you will be supported by a dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment. We offer fast credentialing and onboarding assistance, housing options or assistance, and ongoing assignment support. This 8-week temporary assignment begins May 25, 2026, featuring 12-hour day shifts on a Friday–Thursday facility work week.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide routine nursing care to residents including monitoring condition and delivering treatments per plan of care
- check_circlePerform head-to-toe assessments, document findings, and report changes to the supervising RN
- check_circleAssist with activities of daily living, mobility, wound care, and routine hygiene for residents
- check_circleCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans
- check_circleMaintain infection control practices, ensure safe medication administration, and respond to emergencies
- check_circleAdminister medications and validations while observing for adverse effects and documenting responses accurately
Requirements
- verifiedActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- verifiedGraduation from an approved practical nursing program
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedPrior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred
- verifiedAbility to work 12-hour day shifts with a Fri–Thu facility work week
- verifiedProficient with standard clinical software and charting
