As a Warehouse Specialist/Associate, you will serve as a critical link between supply chain logistics and manufacturing operations. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless flow of materials, chemicals, and components into production areas while maintaining strict inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance.
This role is essential for sustaining production continuity. You will manage the daily issuance and receiving of goods, verifying that all incoming materials meet specifications and quality standards before they reach the manufacturing floor. Your work directly impacts the department's ability to minimize deviations, reduce inventory discrepancies, and prevent material loss.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of operational execution and quality assurance. You will be responsible for receiving materials, inspecting them against specifications, and verifying that packing slips match received products. A key part of your workflow includes ensuring that Certificates of Analysis (COA) are acceptable and elevating any discrepancies for immediate resolution.
Beyond receiving, you will manage inventory levels by ordering raw materials and maintaining MRO items in coordination with buyers and internal suppliers. You will also conduct facility and equipment audits to ensure the warehouse remains compliant with cGMP and OSHA standards, addressing housekeeping and maintenance needs proactively.
Safety and compliance are woven into every task. You will actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, adhere to all company SOPs and plant policies, and assist in training others on operations, inventory systems, and forklift safety. You will also engage in continuous improvement activities and departmental huddles to drive operational excellence.
This position is based in a warehouse setting, which includes both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments. The role requires physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and reaching. You must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing up to 150 lbs. The environment may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals or fumes, and you may need to work in close proximity to equipment.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
