The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) drives revenue, adoption, and growth for AWS across the spectrum of customers, from the fastest-growing small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level public sector clients. We work backwards from our customers' most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams include business development, specialists, and technical solutions architects who provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.
AWS values diverse experiences and an inclusive team culture. Our employee-led and company-sponsored affinity groups promote inclusion and empower our people to take pride in what makes us unique. We foster stronger, more collaborative teams through inclusion events and continual innovation fueled by bold ideas and fresh perspectives. We are continuously raising our performance bar to become Earth's Best Employer, offering endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and career-advancing resources.
We are looking for a SQL Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to join our AWS team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work directly with AWS customers to design cloud-based analytics solutions using Amazon Redshift and the broader SQL Analytics ecosystem. This includes Redshift Serverless, data sharing, Amazon Redshift ML, zero-ETL integrations, Data Lake architecture, Iceberg tables, S3 tables, Athena, and the SageMaker Lakehouse.
In this role, you will help customers build the data foundation required to get the most out of their AI projects and investments. You will serve as a trusted customer advocate, helping organizations understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers. The ability to link technology with measurable business value is critical to your success.
You will represent the voice of the customer, bringing feedback to product teams to influence feature development and the future roadmap. As a thought leader, you will share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events like AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent. You will also partner with Business Development teams to define technical components of best-in-class go-to-market concepts and develop field enablement materials for the broader Solutions Architect population.
