The Special Programs Academic Administrator is a pivotal leadership role designed to direct and coordinate educational, administrative, and counseling activities for students. This position serves as a bridge between the school's vision and its daily operations, ensuring that all stakeholders share a common understanding of the mission and work cooperatively to achieve desired results.
In this predominantly virtual environment, you will manage teaching and administrative staff, including Master and Lead Teachers, while articulating the school's mission to ensure alignment across the organization. The role involves conferring with teachers, students, and parents to address educational and behavioral challenges, as well as coordinating with enrollment teams regarding student transitions. You will be responsible for ensuring the school meets the needs of its students while strictly complying with local, state, and federal laws, particularly those pertaining to special education. Additionally, you will develop and oversee the implementation of the school's Academic Improvement Plan, ensuring conformance with state and local standards.
