About the Role
As a PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients, departmental physicians, and the support team. This role exists to ensure intricate radiologic examinations are completed with precision and compassion. You will prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal, and hospital regulations while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.
Your day will involve assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, and delivering holistic care that supports the rights and dignity of all patients. You will be responsible for patient monitoring, teaching, and utilizing specialized equipment to provide appropriate care for diverse patient populations. We are looking for someone whose passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued and who is dedicated to the art of radiologic technology.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduation from an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology
- verifiedARRT R.T. (R) certification or registry eligible
- verifiedObtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire date
- verifiedOne year of post-graduate experience in interventional radiology or special procedures (preferred)
- verifiedAmerican Heart Association BLS certification
Nice to Have
One year of post-graduate experience working in interventional radiology or special procedures.
