About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography, you will be a vital part of our integrated health system in Georgia. This role is designed for a professional who can function independently while actively participating in a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate care by performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Your day will involve obtaining complete clinical histories, gathering examination data, and assessing for contraindicating conditions. You will utilize critical thinking to respond to emergency situations and ensure all studies meet the highest quality standards, maintaining a first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent. Beyond technical proficiency, you will serve as a patient advocate, patiently explaining the purpose and nature of exams to minimize anxiety and facilitate cooperation using the AIDET framework. You will also play a key role in maintaining the department's cleanliness, ensuring equipment is fully operational, and supporting the orientation of new employees.
