About the Role
The Advanced IR Special Procedures Technologist is a vital member of our imaging team, performing advanced imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Beyond operating specialized equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort, this role serves as a resource and superuser, playing a key part in training others. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical hours or RCIS training certification
- verified2 years of relevant experience
- verifiedARRT (R) or RCIS certification
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedState licensure (if required by state of practice)
Nice to Have
Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images. Skilled in effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support. Ability to communicate and work effectively within a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
