This 13-week travel assignment places a skilled Cath Lab Technologist at a facility in Miami, Florida. As a member of the clinical team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated group of professionals. In this position, you will be an integral part of the cardiac catheterization lab, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring hemodynamic data, and assisting physicians during complex procedures. The day-to-day involves operating specialized imaging equipment, maintaining sterile techniques, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- check_circleAssist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
- check_circlePerform sheath removal and hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
- check_circleManage inventory by stocking supplies and ensuring proper storage of sterile instruments
- check_circleAdhere to radiation safety protocols using lead aprons, shields, and dosimeters
- check_circleScrub in and assist with sterile field setup while adhering to infection control protocols
- check_circleOperate and maintain fluoroscopy, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Requirements
- verifiedOne year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- verifiedCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedValid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state regulations
- verifiedPALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
