Special Education Teacher - Strat II ID - Elementary

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Instructional Strategist II to support students in grades K through 5 within the Cedar Rapids Community School District. This position is designed to provide specialized instruction and ensure that every student's unique learning needs are met through the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

As a key member of the school team, you will collaborate closely with principals, counselors, general education staff, and families to foster an inclusive environment where all children can attain high levels of learning. Your day will involve conducting IEP meetings, delivering targeted instruction, and supporting school-wide social, emotional, and behavioral programming. You will serve as a vital link between the district's curriculum standards and the individualized strategies required to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.
