About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher at New Haven, you will play a critical role in implementing customized educational plans designed to engage and empower our students. You will collaborate closely with therapists, counselors, and other staff to integrate educational and therapeutic goals, ensuring a holistic approach to student development. Your day will involve creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state regulations, while utilizing the latest educational technologies to suit individual learning needs. You will also serve as a vital link between the school and families, providing regular updates and guidance on supporting student development at home.
