Since 1975, RCM Health Care Services has specialized in providing school districts with equal access to Special Education services, including Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Behavioral and Mental Health services, and nursing. As a $200 million publicly traded company, we serve many of the nation's top 100 school districts with the reliability, integrity, and resources to meet the needs of students, staff, and districts nationwide.
We hold the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval and pride ourselves on an educationally based approach that understands exactly what is needed to meet student IEP goals. Our number one priority is student success, and we believe all students deserve the best education to succeed in academic, home, and community environments.
At RCM, you are a valuable team member. We highly respect the knowledge and skills you bring to help students succeed. If you have a passion for student learning and the education field, we encourage you to join us to make a big difference in the lives of children and adolescents.
As a Special Education Teacher for elementary-aged students, you will collaborate with principals, general education teachers, related service staff, school psychologists, parents, paraprofessionals, and district personnel. Your mission is to facilitate the development of comprehensive individualized education programs (IEPs) that support students in the least restrictive environment.
You will provide direct instruction based on each child's IEP and state standards, conducting academic evaluations and monitoring progress. A key part of your day involves creating an effective learning environment through functional displays and interest centers, while maintaining accurate records of student progress. You will also direct instructional assistants, participate in department meetings, and consult with staff regarding interventions and accommodations.
Communication is central to this role. You will maintain ongoing verbal and written contact with parents to discuss progress and interpret the school program, while conferring with regular classroom teachers and related service staff to ensure student needs are met. By setting high expectations for yourself and others, you will help drive progress toward established goals.
RCM Health Care Services believes that exceptional staff share our mission and values. We are looking for educators who are committed to the belief that students come first. If you are dedicated to helping students achieve success and want to work for a company that values your contribution, we invite you to apply.
RCM Health Care Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for all team members.
