About the Role
Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Spanish Medical Interpreter to support clear, compassionate communication between pediatric patients, families, and care teams. In this full-time role, you will provide accurate, confidential Spanish-English interpretation during exams, procedures, family meetings, and telehealth visits across our state-of-the-art facilities.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to apply strong medical terminology and cultural competency, ensuring safety, quality, and HIPAA standards are upheld. Your work is vital in supporting providers during exams, procedures, family conferences, and discharge teaching to ensure understanding and informed consent. You will interpret via in-person, phone, and video platforms, preparing for encounters by reviewing terminology and documenting services to address communication needs effectively.
