As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program, you will join an elite, cross-functional team dedicated to developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA).
In this role, you will drive the evolution, expansion, integration, testing, and maintenance of ground entry points, operations centers, and enterprise test capabilities. Your work will focus on decomposing complex requirements into system architectures and interfaces, while managing the situational awareness of satellites and payloads to track missiles. You will analyze and fuse missile tracking data provided by satellites for rapid processing and dissemination. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence for continuous improvement and innovation within the mission.

The role is based in one of our SDA team locations: Huntsville, Alabama; Scottsdale, Arizona; Grand Forks, North Dakota; or Chantilly, Virginia. The position requires a minimum of three days onsite or fully onsite, depending on the specific location and project needs.
Due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
