The Sous Chef at Hotel Savoy serves as a vital partner to the Executive Chef, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen across restaurant service, banquets, in-room dining, and associate meals. This role exists to ensure every dish meets our established recipes, quality standards, and service expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient culinary environment.
In this position, you will support kitchen leadership by supervising culinary associates, assisting with scheduling and training, and monitoring food quality. You will maintain a strong floor presence during service periods, helping to drive consistency, teamwork, and accountability across the team. As a management-level associate, you will work the hours necessary to fulfill these responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require.

Candidates must be familiar with all Avion Hospitality policies and house rules. Successful applicants will be expected to comply with all certification requirements applicable to the position, including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
