We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sound and Vibration Engineer to join our team in Norman, OK. This role serves as a critical technical resource for a wide range of commercial HVAC rooftop and split system products. You will bridge the gap between new product development and sustaining engineering, ensuring acoustic and vibration excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
In this position, you will define product sound and vibration requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these considerations into product designs. Your day-to-day involves performing acoustic and vibration measurements using specialized equipment, analyzing test data to address noise issues, and developing comprehensive technical documentation. You will also provide sound ratings for publication, assist sales engineering with customer inquiries, and stay current with advancements in acoustic technologies and industry standards. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously while occasionally traveling to project sites for on-site measurements and assessments.
