About the Role

The Sortation Associate plays a critical part in maintaining safety, efficiency, and product quality within a fast-paced recycling warehouse environment. You will manually and visually sort recyclable paper materials on a conveyor line, ensuring quality standards are met. This role involves removing debris, trash, plastics, metals, and other contaminants from the line while loading sorted materials into recycling machinery. You will work to maintain line speed and productivity while ensuring accuracy, all within a non-climate controlled setting that can be dusty and noisy.

Work Environment

This position is based out of Olive Branch, MS, at a Paper and Cardboard Recycling Center. The environment is industrial, featuring paper shreds, dust, paper fibers, and variable temperatures. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and work near moving machinery. The first shift is scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
