LifeBridge Health is a dynamic, purpose-driven health system redefining care delivery across the mid-Atlantic and beyond. Anchored by the mission to "improve the health of people in the communities we serve," we combine strategic growth, innovation, and deep community commitment to deliver exceptional care. Our organization thrives on a culture of CARE BRAVELY—where compassion, courage, and urgency drive every decision, empowering teams to shape the future of healthcare.
With over 14,000 employees and 130 care locations, we serve two million annual patient encounters across five leading centers in the Baltimore region, including Northwest Hospital, where this role is based.
As a Sonographer at Northwest Hospital, you will perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating age-appropriate care for all patients. This role is designed to support the Ultrasound Department's workflow while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
You will specialize in abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular scans, while also assisting with minor invasive procedures such as cyst aspirations and biopsies. A key part of your day involves educating patients about their exams and adapting to the dynamic needs of both patients and staff. You will work as part of a collaborative team that values innovation and outcomes, delivering life-saving care to the community's youngest and most vulnerable patients.
We offer a culture of collaboration with resources like unit-based practice councils and advanced clinical education support. This environment allows you to work at the top of your license while improving workflow efficiency and patient outcomes. We provide opportunities for professional development, including tuition reimbursement and foundational skills for neonatal critical care leadership and advanced certification.
