About the Role

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Principal Specialist) to join our talented team in Aurora, CO. This role is critical for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service, as well as managing the integration and verification of new software baselines.

As a technical subject matter expert, you will interface daily with the Prime customer on mission execution. You will be expected to troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance across multiple operating systems and hardware platforms. The role requires an end-to-end perspective of complex systems in operation, determining the operational feasibility of software modifications. You will work autonomously or lead teams to develop software tools that complement maintenance activities, performing testing, integration, and delivery of new baselines. This position demands the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision to support critical tasks.
