About the Role

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Principal Specialist) to join our talented team in Aurora, CO. In this onsite role, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert for critical software products, interfacing daily with Prime customers on mission execution. Your primary focus will be evaluating operational software problems to provide immediate solutions that restore service, alongside the integration and verification of new software baselines.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading teams or working independently to troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors and unexpected performance across multiple operating systems and hardware platforms. The role requires an end-to-end perspective to assess complex systems in operations, determine the operational feasibility of software modifications, and perform in-depth analysis. You will also be responsible for the testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselines, ensuring the maintenance and documentation of applications meet rigorous standards.

Hiring Process and Application

Location and Work Model: This is an onsite position located at 16800 E Centretech Pkwy, BLDG S75, Aurora, CO. Relocation is not eligible for this role.

Security Requirements: An active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance with a CI polygraph is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
