About the Role
As a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM, working alongside simulation integration experts and experienced military Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Your mission is to support extensive, high-visibility Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) efforts that inform Department of Defense (DoD) decision-makers.
In this role, you will help solve complex national security problems using cutting-edge technology. You will construct military behavior models and entities of varying complexity within the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM), ensuring that tools and methodologies are suitable for capability assessments of emerging military technologies. This position offers the opportunity to be challenged daily in a high-tech environment where your work directly impacts defense technologies and R&D initiatives.
