This team builds functional modules within the Private Brands Central Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool, accelerating speed to market for new product development for Amazon Private Brands (APB) while reducing dwell time for specific processes. Recent initiatives include developing an externalized module for sourcing Request For Quotations (RFQs) from APB suppliers, launching automated processes to manage sustainability and quality claims, and automating ASIN and Detail Page creation on Amazon systems. The team is currently partnering with a third-party solution to build an integrated PLM tool featuring industry-leading software capabilities.
We are seeking a creative and innovative Sr. Software Development Engineer to join the APB Product Lifecycle Management team. In this role, you will build internal and external-facing customer experiences as well as Generative AI solutions designed to drive efficiency in new product development workflows. You will focus on designing and building autonomous agent systems that decompose complex, multi-step problems into executable plans, integrating tool use, memory, and reasoning capabilities to deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal human intervention. Additionally, you will define the architecture and evaluation frameworks for agentic workflows, ensuring agents operate safely, predictably, and at scale in production environments.
Candidates will go through a standard Amazon interview process, which typically includes a phone screen, followed by a series of virtual interviews covering coding, system design, and behavioral competencies. Finalists will meet with the hiring team to discuss role specifics and team fit before an offer is extended.
