The Talent Development Journey team's mission is to make it easier for Amazonians to build rewarding careers within Amazon's unique culture. To deliver on this mission, the Talent Development tech team is building a Talent Development Ecosystem (TDE). This ecosystem empowers human judgment, action, and interaction to facilitate learning and growth. TDE enables the authoring of high-quality content, the delivery of personalized learning experiences, and the measurement of proficiencies at scale.
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the Talent Development team, you will be responsible for the feature design, development, testing, and deployment of components for a new platform dedicated to recording the learning experiences of Amazon employees. You will set a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle, covering design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
You will collaborate closely with software developers, data engineers, data scientists, and learning scientists. The role involves working with education scientists and domain experts to implement basic patterns of expert system pipelines. A successful candidate will bring an established background in developing distributed systems, strong technical ability, excellent project management and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.
We are working hard, having fun, and making history. Join us in building the future of employee development.
Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
