Building on Oracle's cloud momentum, we have formed a new organization: Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). This team is dedicated to product development and strategy for Oracle Health, constructing a complete platform that supports modernized, automated healthcare. As a net-new line of business, OHAI operates with an entrepreneurial spirit, fostering an energetic and creative environment where engineers are unencumbered to drive excellence.
Our mission at Oracle Health is to improve healthcare and quality of life globally by enhancing the experience and accessibility of health and research data for both patients and healthcare providers. We are looking for hands-on engineers who are passionate about solving difficult problems using cloud technologies across distributed systems, data pipelines, analytics, AI/ML, identity, security, and observability.
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will lead efforts in designing and developing data-centric applications, leveraging AI/ML models to enhance insights for our customers. You will own the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from architecture and development to testing, first-class monitoring, and production deployment.
In this role, you will design and build a SaaS application on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, making key architectural decisions for Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) implementations. You will be responsible for overseeing alignment with OHAI onboarding requirements, ensuring security is designed into the solution from the start, and driving the automation of infrastructure deployment. You will also lead individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while mentoring and empowering other engineers to think long-term.
Candidates for this role must be able to obtain Federal clearance. The interview process typically involves a review of technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and AI/ML implementation, followed by discussions on architectural decision-making and system design.
