About the Role
As a Software Architecture Manager, you will lead a team of software architects dedicated to building resilient and scalable software solutions. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and business objectives, ensuring that the architecture team delivers superior support to development groups while maintaining consistency with established architectural standards.
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the software architecture area, providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to your team. Your work involves partnering with principal and senior architects, as well as software engineers, to drive the development and curation of the architecture. A key part of your day will be building relationships with application delivery teams to facilitate architecture services and ensuring that requests are understood, prioritized, and addressed effectively.
In this position, you will lead the planning and implementation of large, complex work efforts while maintaining a deep knowledge of Uline business processes. You will be expected to thrive in a multi-project environment, meeting tight deadlines and ensuring production systems perform well. The role requires a balance of technical oversight and people management, motivating and inspiring team members through well-developed coaching and performance management skills.
