The Skillbridge program at Maximus is a 6-month (24-week) intensive trainee opportunity designed to bridge the gap between education and professional practice. This role serves as a foundational entry point for individuals to develop specialized expertise in recruitment marketing performance and optimization within a dynamic, data-driven environment.
As a Recruitment Marketing Performance & Optimization Associate Specialist, you will support Maximus's recruitment marketing teams by enhancing performance visibility, ensuring data accuracy, and refining optimization capabilities. This position is not merely observational; it is an active engagement in the recruitment ecosystem where you will assist in auditing existing tracking and reporting frameworks, analyzing campaign performance across digital channels, and validating data integrity.
Your day-to-day will involve translating complex data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders. You will learn to identify key platforms, understand ATS integrations, and conduct structured audits of UTMs, dashboards, and campaign setups. By analyzing website performance and candidate journey data, you will help pinpoint optimization opportunities that improve the candidate experience and drive strategic decision-making.
The program is structured to take you from foundational knowledge to advanced application over 24 weeks:
Weeks 1-2: Orientation & Overview Begin by immersing yourself in the Maximus mission, organizational structure, and the specific goals of the recruitment marketing team. You will gain a clear understanding of stakeholders and the performance measurement approach used across the organization.
Weeks 3-22: Core Competencies & Application This extended period focuses on the recruitment marketing ecosystem. You will identify data sources, master tracking concepts, and learn audit methodologies. The core of your training involves hands-on auditing of tracking and reporting systems, performing campaign performance analyses, and conducting attribution and funnel analysis. You will apply these analytical insights to recommend campaign and budget optimization strategies, assist in automating reporting workflows, and research industry benchmarks to ensure best practices are followed. The goal is continuous improvement, where you will identify and propose enhancements to the existing framework.
Weeks 23-24: Wrap-Up & Transition Conclude the program with a final review, comprehensive documentation of your work, and a formal program evaluation to prepare for your next professional step.
