About the Role

Our cybersecurity team is seeking a SkillBridge Candidate to support classified computing environments 100% onsite at our facility in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will interface and collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSM) to ensure adherence to all NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies.

You will assist with system compliance, auditing, security plan development, and delivering information systems security education and awareness. Additionally, you will help investigate information system security violations and prepare reports specifying corrective and preventative actions. The position may involve collaboration with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives, as well as assisting with security sustainment activities such as hardware and software change management, account management, and media protection.

Application and Interview Process

To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet specific Department of Defense requirements, including being projected to receive an honorable discharge, having all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date, and receiving approval from your Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command. You must also be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.

As a SkillBridge participant, you will not be an RTX employee and will remain under the administrative control of your military chain of command. Therefore, you will not receive any form of compensation for your work, nor will you be eligible for company benefits such as health insurance, holiday pay, vacation pay, sick leave, or retirement benefits.

RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted, though this may be adjusted based on candidate flow and business necessity. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations.
