About the Program
The SkillBridge initiative connects transitioning service members with industry-leading organizations to gain real-world work experience. This 6-month (24-week) trainee role is designed to immerse participants in the field of recruitment marketing within the Defense Department ecosystem. The program serves as a bridge between military service and civilian career success, offering a structured environment to learn, contribute, and grow.
About the Role
As a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist, you will partner with Maximus's recruitment marketing teams to plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns that attract top talent. This role is more than just task execution; it is an opportunity to understand the full lifecycle of employer branding and talent acquisition strategy.
Your journey begins with a two-week orientation to understand Maximus's mission, recruitment marketing fundamentals, and core concepts. From week three through week twenty-two, you will dive into the day-to-day operations of a high-performing team. You will support the creation of integrated marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, and assist in developing creative assets and copy. You will gain hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms, email nurture strategies, and performance analytics.
Throughout the program, you will collaborate with recruiters and cross-functional partners to promote hiring events, audit landing pages, and ensure brand consistency. The final two weeks are dedicated to wrapping up your projects, documenting your learnings, and evaluating the program's impact. This role is ideal for those eager to translate their discipline and leadership skills into a dynamic marketing career.
