The SkillBridge initiative connects transitioning service members with meaningful employment opportunities through structured training programs. This 6-month (24-week) trainee role is designed to immerse participants in the world of recruitment marketing within the Department of Defense ecosystem.
About the Role
As a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist, you will serve as a vital support to the Maximus recruitment marketing team. Your primary mission is to assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital recruitment campaigns that attract high-quality talent. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, allowing you to develop a comprehensive skill set in employer branding and talent acquisition.
Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating on integrated marketing campaigns, crafting audience segments, and managing email nurture sequences. You will act as a brand ambassador at various virtual and on-site career fairs, while also supporting the creation of marketing content, graphics, and copy. From auditing landing pages to managing digital ad platforms and analyzing performance metrics, you will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of recruitment marketing.
Program Structure
The program is structured to provide a progressive learning curve:
- Weeks 1-2 (Orientation & Fundamentals): You will begin by understanding Maximus's core values, recruitment marketing basics, and essential industry concepts.
- Weeks 3-22 (Core Execution): This extended period focuses on active participation. You will support campaign planning, collaborate on creative assets, gain hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms, and assist in email nurture execution. You will also learn tracking and reporting, participate in A/B testing, and ensure brand compliance across all channels.
- Weeks 23-24 (Wrap-Up & Transition): The program concludes with a final review, documentation of your work, and a program evaluation to assess your growth and readiness for the next step.
