About the Role
The Site Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing and improving sanitation operations to ensure a safe and pristine facility. You will provide daily supervision of hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons within designated departments and areas of our customer's plants. Your primary focus is ensuring the team works safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory, customer, and company policies.
While you will direct the work of the sanitation team and apportion assignments, your role is primarily managerial rather than manual. However, during peak times such as start-up and pre-op, you may utilize your independent judgment to assist laborers. You will also be responsible for evaluating team members for promotions, assisting with training programs (including safety and ERP), and investigating accidents. This position offers a significant opportunity to make a direct impact on food safety standards.
Work Environment
This role requires working in a dynamic environment that may be wet, hot, or cold. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout your shift. Shift schedules may vary depending on the specific location.
