Our goal is set: to be the best dog daycare in Chicago. We are a small business built on three core pillars: work ethic, integrity, and a genuine love for animals. Unlike large corporations where individual contributions can get lost in the ranks, at PupStars, every decision you make directly impacts the success of the business. Your voice is heard, and your presence is counted on by the entire team.
We believe that professional success doesn't require a traditional corporate ladder. We offer an environment where your training is in-depth and thorough, with support every step of the way until you are ready to perform. When you dedicate your time to your job, you become a vital link in our operation; your reliability ensures our plans go according to schedule and our families' needs are met.
We are looking for an avid animal lover to join our team as a Bus Driver. This role is designed for someone interested in learning multiple positions and growing with the company. You will play a crucial part in the daily routine of our clients, responsible for the safe and timely transport of dogs to and from our facility for daycare, boarding, and grooming services.
Your day will involve organizing your schedule to arrive at clients' homes punctually, navigating Chicago-land traffic (with a focus on Downtown, Hyde Park, and surrounding neighborhoods), and executing precise loading and unloading procedures. Beyond driving, you will assist with supervised playgroups and solo play for dogs between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM, ensuring the bus remains clean, safe, and sanitized at all times. This is a set-schedule role where you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of Pupstar families.
Working at PupStars means being part of a team that relies on you. We offer a supportive culture where your contributions are visible and valued. In addition to our inclusive environment, we provide competitive benefits including PTO, access to health benefits, company outings, and end-of-year bonuses. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to stay calm in crisis situations.
If you are ready to grow with a team that values your integrity and hard work, we want to hear from you. Please apply if you meet the state and facility requirements, including being 21 years or older, holding a valid driver's license, and having prior experience or familiarity with dogs and large motor vehicles.
