Shipping Lead - 2nd Shift

About the Role

This position serves as a critical link in our logistics operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all inbound and outbound shipments. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of shipping clerks, managing inventory integrity within our freezer and offsite storage facilities. The role demands a hands-on leader who can navigate complex food safety protocols while coordinating carrier schedules and maintaining precise documentation for freight orders.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of shipments, utilizing PLEX and mobile scanners to maintain inventory accuracy. A key part of your day involves ensuring that products are pulled, prepared, and loaded with exact precision, adhering to strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation standards. You will also manage the facility's equipment and materials, ensuring a clean and orderly environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and SQF requirements.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment that includes varying temperatures, from very hot to very cold conditions, and is comfortable with the physical demands of the warehouse floor.
