About the Role
This position offers a dedicated, home-daily driving opportunity within the Jackson, TN terminal, serving Batesville, MS. You will operate on consistent routes supporting the automotive industry, handling drop-and-hook freight with no-touch requirements. The role utilizes a slip-seat position equipped with advanced technology for electronic logs and dispatch, as well as inward and outward-facing cameras to ensure safety and compliance.
Multiple start times are available to accommodate your schedule, allowing for a balanced daily routine. While the position is exempt from overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act, a sixth day of work may be required when requested by our customers. The route involves daily movements within a 300-mile radius, ensuring you return home each night.
Hiring Process
Candidates must successfully complete a rigorous selection process to ensure safety and operational readiness. This includes passing a DOT physical at an FMCSA-qualified clinic, a pre-employment drug screen, and a road test administered by Venture Express. Selected applicants will participate in a two-day paid orientation, which includes lunch, followed by a third-day Ride-A-Long at the home terminal.
