Join HII as we keep the world's most powerful Navy afloat! This position supports contracted skilled trades work on Weapon Elevators and Aircraft Elevators and their systems on U.S. Navy ships. As a Team Lead within the Elevator Support Unit (ESU), you will lead technical teams for installations and repairs across various technical trade specialties. You will manage, oversee, schedule, and assign tasks for multiple jobs, ensuring the repair, modernization, and testing of shipboard elevators and weapons handling systems on T-AKE, LPD, LHD, LSD, CVN, CG, and DDG class ships.
This role involves installing, operating, maintaining, and modifying equipment, as well as performing maintenance and technical support on integrated systems and subsystems at customer and field locations. You will analyze product performance, troubleshoot malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time, and maintain effective customer communications. The position may also involve providing onsite training to customer support personnel.
