The Shift Manager is an hourly position designed to assist management in routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant. This role serves as a critical link in maintaining daily operations, ensuring excellence in customer service, and upholding company standards for product and facility specifications.
In this capacity, you will review food handling procedures and assess operational processes to ensure efficiency and safety. While your human resources responsibilities are focused on crew training, ongoing coaching, and feedback for hourly employees, you may also assume full responsibility for opening and closing the restaurant when management is unavailable. In these instances, you will maintain administrative control of the facility, though you will not serve in a formal managerial capacity.
