The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) serves as the captain of a single restaurant location, holding overall responsibility for daily operations, guest satisfaction, and key business outcomes such as sales growth, profitability, and employee retention. Leading a team of 10 to 45 employees, the RGM oversees financial controls, operations, people development, and compliance across all shifts. This role is pivotal in driving the restaurant's success, working directly under a District Manager while managing Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers.
The position demands a dynamic leader capable of navigating long and irregular shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extra hours, to ensure the restaurant functions smoothly 365 days a year. The RGM interacts with a wide network including team members, field operations, customers, and outside vendors, fostering an environment of fast, friendly service and clean surroundings.
