Shift Lead

About the Role

As a Shift Lead, you will be the backbone of our store's daily operations, stepping in to support overall shift performance, sales goals, and brand excellence whenever a General Manager or Assistant General Manager is not present. You will guide a team of 1 to 8 team members, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the high standards of the Vitaligent brand.

This role is more than just supervision; it is about leading by example. You will work the line alongside your team, coaching them on operational standards and training new members to succeed. Your day involves balancing administrative duties with hands-on service, ensuring the store is ready for business, maintaining accurate inventory, and delivering the ultimate guest experience. Whether you are managing the flow of the line during a rush or mentoring a team member on product knowledge, your adaptability and drive for results set the tone for the entire shift.

Work Environment

This position offers a dynamic environment where no two days are exactly the same. You will work in a setting that involves frequent exposure to high temperatures and extreme cold, as well as regular contact with water, sanitation solutions, and various food products including produce, dairy, and common allergens like nuts and citrus. The role requires significant physical activity, including standing, reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 40 pounds, as well as maneuvering within walk-in coolers and freezers.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a part-time, hourly position eligible for overtime, with specific availability requirements varying by store. You will have the opportunity to work a variable schedule, including openings, mid-day shifts, and closing shifts. In addition to your base pay, this role is eligible for supplemental pay in the form of tips.
