About the Role

We are reimagining the cafe experience, making high-quality coffee and matcha accessible and efficient. As a Shift Lead, you'll play a key role in bringing our mission to life. You'll lead by example on the floor, ensure smooth operations during your shift, and create an environment where both customers and team members feel valued. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, loves connecting with people, and is passionate about great coffee and matcha.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will craft beautiful coffee products and serve all Blank Street customers with energy, warmth, and empathy. You'll support your General Manager and Training Team by helping new employees succeed, ensuring they follow recipes, training processes, and brand standards. You'll be responsible for opening and closing the location safely, maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift, and handling customer issues with a positive, solution-focused mindset. Additionally, you'll lead store-level initiatives with operations and marketing teams to increase foot traffic, drive sales, and develop a loyal neighborhood customer base.
