For nearly 40 years, Mosaic has provided improved quality of life, greater stability, and increased community access for people with disabilities through our shared living service. This program also offers a satisfying career option for home providers who wish to make a meaningful difference in their community.
As a Home Provider, you will offer 24-hour support to an individual with intellectual disabilities, welcoming them into your home and assisting with their daily needs. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and healthy home environment while acting as a mentor to help the individual thrive.
In this role, you will assist in cultivating life skills and fostering independence. We work to match interests and lifestyles between people, allowing you to connect with an individual whose needs fit the support level you wish to offer. Through this partnership, you will participate together in activities of daily living, both at home and in the community. Duties vary for each individual, ranging from minimal support (such as budgeting, medication management, and transportation) to full support (including dressing, toileting, feeding, and positive behavioral support). The income is commensurate with the level of support provided.
We are currently seeking home providers in Chandler, Gilbert, and Mesa, AZ. To qualify, you must reside in the state of Arizona due to state funding requirements and own or rent your home. Providers can expect an average annual income of $42,500, which is federally tax-free.
