The Uptime Engineer serves as the critical technical bridge between our manufacturing operations and our distributor network. In this position, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and providing repair guidance to ensure our distributors and customers maintain high levels of satisfaction. Beyond immediate problem resolution, you will play a key role in the Aftersales business by overseeing warranty claims and developing comprehensive product training programs for operation, maintenance, and repair.
As the technical liaison with our parts operation, you will coordinate field technical problem resolution with Engineering teams. A significant part of your mission involves identifying repetitive failure patterns and managing field product improvements or campaigns to enhance product reliability. You will create and own service bulletins for your assigned products, ensuring that accurate records are maintained and special reports are delivered as requested.
This role requires active collaboration across a wide range of departments, including the VP of Service & Solutions, Warranty Administration, Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Parts, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. You will maintain strong relationships with distributors, vendors, customers, and end users, ensuring seamless communication and support. The position demands a high-energy, self-motivated individual capable of adapting to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing multiple complex projects under pressure, and remaining calm in stressful situations.
