About the Role
Our service teams are the backbone of our client relationships, responsible for providing on-site service for Securitas Technology products. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all post-installation issues, ensuring application uptime and system performance. Beyond troubleshooting, you will engage in special project work, execute preventative maintenance, and perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
You will work both individually and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve complex application issues. A key part of your day involves documenting system modifications through digital change control tracking and producing quality technical documentation that bridges the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. Your work ensures that our clients' security infrastructure remains robust, reliable, and secure.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedC-5 Limited Electrical Contractor or C-6 Limited Journeyperson License
- verifiedExperience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment
- verifiedWorking knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
- verifiedWorking knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
Experience with Bosch, Silent Knight fire alarm systems. Experience with Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems. NICET certification or State Fire License. ESA Certified Alarm Technician certification. NTS Certified Service Technician certification. Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control.
